Gardening is now the most popular practical hobby in the UK and people are spending an increasing amount of time socialising in their gardens.

However, today many people lead chaotic lives thus reducing the time they can spend maintining their gardens yet they still desire a nice garden.

Rite-Edge has been installed in many gardens throughout the UK as it helps create a beautiful garden with minimum maintenance.

Rite-Edge has been used here to form an edge between various different surfaces creating a beautifully designed garden.

The client stated ‘The black Rite-edge really tied the whole garden together’.

Domestic Garden in Gloucester

In this instance, Rite-Edge was used to form a series of interlocking circles and squares in a new lawn.

The landscape architect was thrilled with the results and his comments reflect this:

"The client was very happy with the finished look and the obvious benefits of reducing the need to maintain an edge, of what is a difficult shape. I look forward to using the product again in the future."

In this instance the garden designer (Mark Tolfree of Gabriola Garden Designs) used Rite-Edge for a wide range of interesting applications and was extremely pleased with the results.

This client was struggling to maintain a neat edge around some curvey borders.

The natural finish was selected to reflect the colours of the flowers and further brighten a north facing garden.

Here Rite-Edge was put to use for a range of applications.

The first photo shows Rite-Edge used to create a flush edge between gravel and bark.

The second photo shows Rite-Edge edging the remainder of the circular lawn.

Here Rite-Edge was used to help create a low maintenance garden for an elderly gardener.

Rite-Edge lawn edging was used to form a combination of angles and straights which would stay permanently neat and eliminated the need for the gardener to edge his lawn with his edging shears.

Brown Rite-Edge was chosen as it blended in with the soil to give a subtle finish.

In this instance the customer wanted to create a raised lawn using Rite-Edge as a feature of the contemporary design.

Due to the height required it was appropriate to use the 14cm tall x 4.5mm thick Heavy-Duty Rite-Edge.

Commercial Applications (top)

- Chelsea Physic Garden, London

Chelsea Physic Garden is home to many species of beautiful and rare plants from all over the world. The public pay to walk around these gardens therefore keeping them looking neat with minimum maintenance, was a priority to its management.

Rite-Edge was chosen as a suitable edging product to keep the borders and flowerbeds looking neat, whilst reducing the time required to maintain tidy edges.

- Peverells Orchard Railway

Rite-Edge is an extremely versatile product and this is made clear with the following two examples.

This first exmple is where it was used to edge the side of a miniature railway track.

- Crazy Golf Course

Another interesting application was using Rite-Edge to shape the holes on a crazy golf course.

Rite-Edge has also been used to edge bowling greens, for the lettering in McDonald's gardens and to edge decking.
